Local FM Station Development
Local FM Christian broadcast stations would provide a daily program service of 12-16
hours daily in the languages of the local population to a potential audience of hundreds of
thousands of people in cities such as Juba (250,000), Wau (137,000), Malakal (130,000),
Rumbek (100,000) and the Jaac refugee camp in Northern Bahr El Ghazal (90,000).
Each station would operate at a power of 7,500 watts.
$50,000 will cover purchase of equipment, transport to South Sudan, customs fees, and
installation.
All contributions are tax-deductible and are used solely for Radio Peace operations
where they are needed most or as you specify reaching tens of thousands daily with
Christian radio programs unavailable anywhere else in the region. You can give by check,
bank draft, or credit card. Cash or in-kind gifts (cars, boats, houses, etc.) can also be
given.
